Have you ever been to the sea, just standing on the warm sand watching the endless waves shining under the shroud of the dark evening sky? This poem was inspired by such a fascinating and solitary evening. Enjoy!

Sparkles of the sea
Setting the waters on fire
Splashing over and again
Waves after waves
Unbridled and free
As far as it can possibly be
They roll and roar
And tumble and groan
The white foam and the glittering froth
Washing away the sand
Taking everything they can
But giving them all back
Rolling they come
And touch your feet
With souls left cleansed
The waters come and recede
