নাম ধরে ডাকার নেই অধিকার তাই লুকিয়ে, মৃদু স্বরে ডাকি, সেই ডাক যদি পাও শুনতে- সেই ডাকে যদি পড়ে মনে, ফিরে দেখ, সাড়া দাও; আশা রাখি, আশাহত হয়ে যেন ফিরে চাও, কাছে রেখে নাও নতুনে বাঁধো পুরোনো রাগে-অনুরাগে।

উন্মত্ত অশান্ত দেহে, ক্ষীণ, কাতর স্বরে, তার নাম ধরে ডাকি, আকুল মিনতি আর সে? শুনেও শোনে না- অধরা ঈশ্বর তিনি, দেয় না সাড়া; মায়াবী বুঝি টেনেছে পাতালে, কিংবা জাগিয়েছে স্বর্গ মর্ত্যে- প্রলোভনের শাস্তি দিতে, নীরবে সে বাঁধে তার সম্মোহন জালে।
